I have to say that I am enjoying a Savory Summer. Being grounded, unable to travel, has opened up many hours and opportunities. Each afternoon I am walking to my radiation appointment (conveniently just over 2 miles away).
I am using my camera more. This photo countdown has me looking at objects differently.
We are cooking more–a combination of irresistible farmers market food and the time to prepare it.
And every day I take a nap…..
It might be true that every cloud DOES have a silver lining.

Dearest Maggie,
all these things sound so good for you, the walk, the photography, the nap and the cooking.
Your photos are a delight.
I head off for my ride for Multiple Sclerosis next week on Wed so off line for 6 days. Andrew is visiting with two friends on Sunday of this week, his first county visit this year.
Our garden is bearing produce not quite as bountiful as those markets you are visiting but soon the french beans and tomatoes will be ready.
Keep doing all these good things.
Much love

Thanks Elizabeth. I can imagine the garden and the delicious beans and tomatoes. The ride sounds ambitious! What did you finally name the team? Love, maggie
